Originating from the Punjab region, lassis are an ancient yoghurt based drink that can be salted or sweet. Salted lassis are considered to be savoury, with spices such as cumin added to enhance the flavour, whilst sweet lassis are often blended with fruit, including mango, banana and apple.

Humayun’s Tomb
A spectacular example of Persian architecture and one of Delhi’s historic gems, Humayun’s Tomb was the first tomb of a Mughal emperor. Thought to have inspired the Taj Mahal, this grand mausoleum is surrounded by beautiful gardens and other tombs.
Qutab Minar
Renowned for its rich history and fine details, the incredible Qutub Minar is India’s tallest minaret. Completed in the 12th century, the five-story tower rises more than 70 metres and is made from a unique mix of marble and sandstone. You'll also find inscriptions from the Quran carved into the exterior.
India Gate
Commemorating the Indian soldiers who died in World War 1, the India Gate is a remarkable stone arch; similar to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Burning beneath the structure is an eternal flame, and the names of the soldiers are inscribed on the wall.
Taj Mahal
The most iconic sight in India, the magnificent Taj Mahal is on everyone’s bucket list. This mausoleum was created as a tribute to Mughal emperor Shan Jahan when his wife died, taking more than 20 years to complete. Admire the grand architecture and explore the stunning ornamental gardens.
Agra Fort
Built in 1573 by Mughal emperor Akbar, Agra Fort is a red sandstone fortress with fairy tale palaces and beautiful mosques inside. Often called a city within a city, highlights include the Jahangir Mahal, Anguri Bagh and Musamman Burj.
Amber Fort and Palace
One of the most popular sights in Jaipur, Amber Fort and Palace is the former residence of the Jaipur Royal Family. Built with white marble and pale yellow and pink sandstone, it is best known for being a magnificent example of Rajasthani architecture. And, with a fascinating history of legends, betrays and romance, it makes for an incredible visit!
City Palace
The home of Jaipur’s Royal Family, City Palace is more extravagant than you could ever imagine. Take in a dazzling display of costumes and textiles at the Mubarak Mahal, view finely crafted daggers in the Armoury, and admire the stunning blend of architectural styles.
