Food and Drink
Golabki
Golabki, or cabbage rolls, are an important part of Polish cuisine. Cabbage leaves are filled with minced beef or pork and served with either a tomato or mushroom sauce. Translating to ‘little pigeons’, these flavorsome rolls are a delight!
Bigos
Sometimes translated into ‘Hunter’s Stew’, bigos is typically made with sauerkraut, fresh shredded cabbage and a variation of meats. Whilst simple and traditional, this is one of Poland’s national dishes and a must-try!
Pierogi
Undoubtedly Poland’s most famous and simple food, pierogi are filled dumplings that can be cooked or fried. Savory pierogi is often filled with cheese, meat or vegetables, whilst sweet pierogi is filled with fruits such as blueberries, plums or cherries.
Oscypek
Created in the Tatras Mountains, oscypek is a smoked cheese only found in Poland. Made from salted sheep’s milk, once smoked the cheese is then turned into an oval, barrel or spindle. The production of oscypek is financially supported by the EU due to how impressive it is!

Warsaw Highlights
Royal Route
Connecting three former residences of Polish rulers, the Royal Route takes you to Łazienki Park, Wilanów Palace and the Royal Castle, along with other historic buildings, parks, churches and monuments. If you're eager to see several sights, this walk is a must!
Monument to the Ghetto Heroes
Commemorating the fallen Jewish fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943, the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes offers an insight into the city’s past. One side of the memorial depicts several fighters with Mordechaj Anielewicz, whilst the other side portrays a line of Jewish prisoners in the concentration camps.
Old Town
Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Warsaw’s old town is the most picturesque part of the city. Playing a major role in Poland’s history and culture, the area is home to many sights and attractions such as Sigismund’s Column, the Mermaid of Warsaw and the Historical Museum of Warsaw.

Wawel Castle

Wawel Cathedral
One of the most important churches in Poland, Wawel Cathedral is the focal point of the country’s history. The cathedral has witnessed many coronations, funerals and burials, and inside you can view highlights such as the Holy Cross Chapel, the Sigismund Chapel and the Crypt of St. Leonard.
Market Square
The buzzing heart of Kraków, the market square is one of the largest medieval squares in Europe. Here you can browse the merchant stalls in the Cloth Hall, view the striking bronze statue of Adam Mickiewicz, and hear the famous bugle call played from the tower of St. Mary’s Basilica.

Kasprowy Wierch Cable Car
If you’re searching for breathtaking views, take the cable car up to the summit of Mt. Kasprowy Wierch. Your journey takes you above the spectacular Tatra Valleys, and once at the top you can take in the panorama of Czerwone Wierchy and the much sharper peaks of the High Tatras.
Krupowki Street
