Food and Drink

Irish Coffee

Ireland produces some of the best whiskey in the world, and an Irish coffee is a heavenly drink combining whiskey, coffee and fresh, smooth cream. Almost a dessert, this firm favourite is sure to warm you up right through to your toes!

Irish stew

A hearty, one-pot dish made traditionally from mutton, potatoes, onions and water, Irish stew is the ultimate comfort food and perfect for warming up in winter. Relying on only a few ingredients with the slow-cooked, tender meat adding the most flavour, this favourite, national dish has been around for centuries.

Soda bread

A simple, traditional bread which oozes flavour, Irish soda bread is a daily staple. Recipes vary from family to family, each with their own twist, but the bread is typically enjoyed with a thick spread of butter and used for dipping into stews and soups.
