Donegal Town is an attractive, bustling town overlooking Donegal Bay on the Wild Atlantic Way. In the very heart of the town, towering over the River Eske, stands Donegal Castle, a fifteenth century fortress where you can uncover the fascinating stories of medieval Gaelic lords. The Diamond market square is a great place to start exploring the abundance of shops, restaurants, and heritage attractions that Donegal has to offer.
We then continue to Belleek Pottery, home to the world-famous pottery. The museum houses pieces dating back to 1857 when the pottery first started, and remains just as popular today.
