Great drivers & an excellent itinery. All the hotels were good - the Hotel Astarea in Mlini & Hotel Pinija in Petrcane were very good. Only the Reims hotel Kyriad Enzo Reims Tinqueux was not suitable as it was on an industrial estate & did no evening meals. We walked 15 mins to a McDonalds. A list of eateries in the area would have been appreciated. All hotels had very good breakfast & dinner buffets. I chose this holiday as it went to both Krka & Plitvice water parks, which were wonderful, especially Plitvice. Going to Mostar was also a beautiful & interesting addition to the tour. We did not stay in Opatija, which I was disappointed about at first, but the alternative in Crikvenica was a delight. An excellent hotel by the beach & a leisurely walk along the promenade to the town was lovely.. The drivers Neil & Steve were excellent, friendly & helpful & gave good advice. Only other letdown was some of the guided tours. They were rushed and the content not particularly interesting, such a Split, where we hurried through all the market stalls and had only a small amount of interesting facts about Split. (I had been once before on a cruise & the guide took us all around the historic parts & into a tower where local male singers entertained).
